I'm pulled to the eye
The flight of a one winged fly
But please remember me
When you're half asleep
And your thoughts smoke, spiraling
Remember that field of space
A rather ambitious race
Beside the stones, stumbling through the air
Where we embraced temptation
The grass relinquished from its ovation
Our shouldered threads strained
Neglecting the future pain, it would bring
To never hear you sing
And sit in silence, flowing like gravy
Watching the dog lick myself up of the ground
I feel so round, as if I will never end
Then a sharp bend, pulls me away
Far from today, you'll find me there
A handful of hair
Shoes filled with dirt not feet
Eyes replaced by spoons
Some creature I will be
But please
Please remember me
Fondly
I really love your writing. It still draws me in, as if there were never ending poems surrounding each post.
