At once I was a werewolf
No longer can this form I take
For you my moon had gone away
Never my true form could I make
The window shades in front of thee
In forms of men and absent apology
Formed my inquisition for the whereabouts
On what other wolves might your beams shine
With lack of light from a creatures care taker
The fur and teeth had gone
Now covered up with coats of clear
Shoes of not and mitts of grit
On a cold and sloping shard of moon
A lonely man will always sit
Never my true form could I make
ReplyDeleteA lonely man will always sit
This reminded me of someone and gave me really good perspective..
Also I really love the way you write always
